Acceptable Use Policy & End-User Licence

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs content you create and behaviour on the Aether apps and website (the “Service”), including listings, in-app messages, enquiries and buyer requests (“user content”). It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. It also serves as the end-user licence agreement for the Aether mobile apps.

1. Licence

Aether Group grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Aether apps on devices you own or control, for their intended purpose and subject to these rules and the Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sub-license or reverse engineer the apps except as permitted by law.

2. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post, send or transmit content, or behave in a way, that:

  • is unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or deceptive (including fake, duplicate or misrepresented listings);
  • lists property you are not entitled to list or offer;
  • is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or discriminatory;
  • is obscene, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable;
  • infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
  • contains spam, unsolicited marketing, malware, or links to harmful sites;
  • attempts to circumvent the platform to avoid fees, scrapes data, or misuses other users’ personal data;
  • impersonates any person or organisation, or misstates your affiliation.

3. Reporting and blocking

You can report objectionable content or abusive users from within the app (for example, the “Report” option on a listing) or by emailing support@aetherprop.com. You can also stop communicating with a user by leaving the conversation. We review reports of objectionable content and act on them within 24 hours — removing content and/or ejecting the user who posted it where appropriate.

4. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, refuse, remove or restrict user content, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion where content or conduct breaches this AUP or the law. We may also report unlawful activity to the authorities. These rights do not create an obligation to monitor all content.

5. Your responsibility for your content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and confirm you have the rights to submit it. You grant Aether a licence to host, store and display your content as needed to operate the Service, as described in the Terms of Service.

6. Consequences

Breaching this AUP may lead to content removal, feature or account suspension, permanent termination, and (where applicable) legal action. Serious or repeated breaches will result in a permanent ban.

7. No warranty for user content

User content is created by users, not by Aether. We do not endorse and are not responsible for user content, and it may be inaccurate. Always carry out your own due diligence, as described in the Terms of Service.
